The magical place is a small valley in the Judean lowlands, south of Beit Shemesh, which connects the lowlands with the Judean mountains and hence its importance over the years. According to the Bible, the battle of David and Goliath took place in this valley.
The story of David and Goliath is a biblical story of a battle of champions that takes place against the backdrop of a war between Israel and the Philistines in the Elah Valley. David, a shepherd boy, overcomes Goliath, a giant from the Philistine camp who blasphemed Israel and its God. In this campaign, David reveals himself as a courageous hero, and as a leader who is not afraid to fight at the front in the name of God fiercely, as a response to the violation of the beliefs he was jealous of, while expressing criticism of the people and the king who stand on the other side, receive curses and blasphemies, and do nothing. The story of David and Goliath has become synonymous with a situation where in a conflict between two sides the side that appears to be weak wins, due to its righteousness, wisdom or faith.
